6th Hill Film Festival
The 6th Hill Film Festival is set to return to Rangamati from December 26-28, 2024, with additional screenings in Dhaka, bringing a diverse selection of films to audiences in Bangladesh’s capital as well. Since its establishment in 2014, the festival has become a significant biennial platform for Indigenous language films from Bangladesh and now welcomes international films across all genres and languages.
This year’s submission period is officially closed, following deadlines on September 15, October 10, and October 31. The programming team is currently reviewing each submission, with the selected films to be announced soon.
The festival continues to be rooted in the culturally vibrant Chittagong Hill Tracts, offering a rare platform for Indigenous storytelling alongside global voices. We look forward to sharing an exciting lineup of films that celebrate unique perspectives and artistic expression.
