The much-anticipated 6th Hill Film Festival, set to celebrate indigenous and diverse cinematic voices, will be held from December 26-28, 2024, in Rangamati, and continue in Dhaka from January 2-4, 2025. This year’s team of dedicated organizers promises to bring an engaging, immersive experience to audiences in both locations.
Festival Director Adit Dewan will lead the festival, bringing together a dynamic programming team, including Fazle Hasan Shishir and Santua Tripura as lead Programmers, with support from Associate Programmers Parbon Mazhar and Sheram Chingkhei. Programming Assistants Ezazul Haque Fahim and Srabani Rangsa join to ensure a seamless selection process.
Heading Publication & Documentation are Paddmini Chakma and Snighdha Sultana, while Abdul Ahad oversees Audio Visual Content. Supporting the festival’s research efforts, A. H. M. Bodrul Amin and Sujalo Chakma will contribute in-depth insights on indigenous and regional cinema. Coordinating festival operations will be Satirtha Dewan, ensuring the event runs smoothly.
With this passionate team, the 6th Hill Film Festival is poised to create another impactful platform for cinematic storytelling.
