A Dhaka based writer-filmmaker, Jaheen Faruque Amin, co-founded ‘Auteur Collective’, a screenwriter-filmmakers collective in Bangladesh in 2022. He was awarded the ‘DS-SC Celebrating Life-Best Debut Filmmaker’2015 for his short film Nonexistence, Mon Amour. He co-authored the acclaimed Bangladeshi film Hawa (2022), along with a few other films and web series. Currently he is developing his debut feature film. He studied Arts and Aesthetics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, India.
